Immigration New Zealand permanently closes the Silver Fern Job Search Work Visa from October 7, 2019.

The Silver Fern visa application held every year in November. The lottery provided work visas for youth and educated professionals. It was a relatively simple and inexpensive way to immigrate to New Zealand. Each year, INZ granted visas to 300 applicants.

If you already hold this visa

If you already hold a Silver Fern Job Search Work Visa you are not affected by the closure. The conditions of your visa stay the same.
