Applying for a visa without a passport

If you are currently in New Zealand with an expired passport or your passport is about to expire – it may be nearly impossible to get a visa. We know that many embassies do not issue passports now due to problems with consular post and people get stuck on an interim visa or become unlawful. However, there is a solution.

You may apply for a Certificate of Identity from a New Zealand government, which is issued for 2 years and is a valid document to apply for a visa.

If you or your friends need help with this – please do get in touch with us. You can email our immigration adviser at [email protected] or book an online consultation to discuss your problem.
